My name is Ilias, to most of my Yankee family and friends I am known as Louie since high school and the name stuck. Proud father of Ben and husband to my queen Elizabeth, home in Melbourne, Australia. We moved to Oz at the end of March 2012 and we are so far enjoying it.

Greek by birth, my family hails from Makrohori in Imathia, Northern Greece. My family is Pontian Greeks and were forcefully relocated to Makrohori in the 1920’s. My parents immigrated to Germany in the 60’s and I was born in Hagen, Germany but grew up in Wuppertal, Germany and Makrohori, Greece. I did spend significant time in the US, where I went to school and that has been one of the greatest influence in my life. I met Elizabeth in Greece in 1997 after my discharge from the military and we immigrated to Germany sometime after that.
